I Highly recommend this video from US retail geek / specialist / advisor Jason Goldberg. Yes, he references the US and big businesses and big brands. What he says applies here in Australia because, online has no borders. It also applies to small business retail because, online has no borders.
Very interesting. I think the comments about digitally influenced sales are well worth considering. I have been monitoring the Google insights for our 2 websites and I am shocked by the number of times our store photos have been viewed in Google searches.

Steve, every product description, every image, every landing page, every blog post of a business website is content that google indexes. It is a surprise what lands people on different websites, insightful. It’s another reason I encourage newsagents to NOT crate websites that replicate traditional newsagency businesses.
