I am looking to hire a manager for a retail business. The ideal person will be focussed on a career in retail, innovative retail. They will be self motivated, not bound by channel borders and have a keen awareness of the role of tech in the future of retail.
It is a Melbourne based position. Hands on. I don’t want to share too much detail as it is more about what they might bring to the business rather than what the business might bring to them.

The current housing situation dictates that location is the defining factor. Moving to a job is prohibitively expensive if not logistically impossible. The talent pool may be large in Melbourne, but for many businesses, recruitment is becoming a nightmare. Good luck.
In my software company, we have found that hiring for new roles is easy as people can work where they prefer. I think many office based businesses operate this way now.
For retail, the genuinely right people are more valuable than an award rate determines.
