Here in Melbourne stage 4 today…
A customer at the newsagency counter pulls their mask down to lick their fingers before pulling a note from their purse to pay for a purchase.
Naturally, the response is – sorry, we are cashless.
This is not an isolated story. All through corona I’ve heard stories from retailers of customers doing similar – licking fingers, holding their credit card in their mouth while they reach for something else.
People spread the virus, especially stupid people.
People can be disgusting.
in brisbane,in our store had a women flicking a magazine n licking fingers as she truning the page, she didnt liked it when a staff member told her nicely please dont do it.. its a constant nightmare esp kids not behaving n following social distancing .
But you never worried about taking cash pre-Covid when accepting the dosh from hep B junkies or people suffering influenza.
Wear gloves at work. Simple.
Oh, Jason. They paid with a card.
