Given recent comments here on Google and news, here are investigative journalism outlets in Australia that, in my opinion, lead the pack on investigative journalism in Australia.
- Michael West Media.
- Crikey. and Crikey Inq.
- The Saturday Paper.
- The Klaxon.
- The New Daily.
- The C0nversation.
- The Guardian.
- The ABC, usually.
- The Independents is a good site that aggregates contents from independent sites.
Feel free to add your own suggestions in the comments. I don’t care if you like my list or not, it’s my list, just as your list is your list.
The Guardian can have some interesting articles. To qualify though most articles need to have some sort of SJW bent. That’s an imperative for the Guardian and not negotiable. They will manage to include a gender reference on any and every article, it borders on comical at times. The ABC are tracking a similar path though not with quite as much zeal as the Guardian. No mention of Adele Ferguson at Nine. If it was still Fairfax that would have gotten her into Marks list. She is the most awarded investigative journalist in the country, but now works for a major commercial organisation. Shame on you Adele.

Walkley awards for investigative journalism are dominated by the SMH/AGE (Nine), ABC and Newscorp. I can’t see the others on your list rating much at all. Might be better at gossip, cancel culture and innuendo.
