SyndiMate, launched by Tatts, supports customer-organised in-store syndicate purchases. It looks like a helpful tool for driving in-store sales.
I’d be interested to hear what lottery retailers think. Maybe I am missing something. If not, kudos to Tatts.
It is actually a really handy little system for the extreme few who actually use it. We have faced more resistance with customers being too lazy to do it themselves and instead still opt to come in with no idea what they want and rely on us to put it together for them. I will give praise where it is due though, this was a good tool when used and Tatt’s cannot control if a customer will use it or not.
I am curious while on topic if anyone has imposed price limits on syndicates in store? We had a customer once come in asking for a $50 total price syndicate with 50 shares… Total waste of time to print that many shares for that little income. tied up a machine and a staff member for 10 minutes to make $4.50

Same view as Michael, to few interested in a good tool. We pushed it for a while but still ended doing all the work.
No limits on syndicates. So many stores have staff who are not proficient in them, especially OTR service stations, we find syndicates as a good way of bringing back repeat customers. They exemplify customer service.

Same as colin here. The only problem with Syndimate is its only for that draw so next draw the customer need to make it up again. We advise the customer that we can store it in our system and they just need to come back to us and we can gererate it for them.

In WA Lotterywest have a price limit on syndicates, we cannot make one with less than 5 shares and the shares always have to be more than $5 each. We have a sheet customers can print out but it doesn’t look as good as this tool from Tatts.
