Different standards imposed by Tatts on newsagents

Here are two photos posted on a private Facebook page run by Tatts in South Australia, showing how some retailers can represent their products.

Newsagents confronted by $35,000+ costs for a demanded refit look at this and wonder about what looks like double standards.

The reps certainly have a different idea of what is okay for display and what isn’t. The surveyors and Tatts higher ups don’t care and just want what they say. Agents are capable of mixing lotto into a product mix with other products which achieves greater success for the agent overall (Which in turn strengthens Lotto sales)

Some real gems have come out of the Tatts private facebook pages for retailers… The advice to slowly pull the problematic $2.00 Christmas scratch ticket so as to avoid breakage was probably our favorite. This had apparently been tested too according to the post! Boy i wish i got paid to stand there and pull scratchies out of a dispenser the way they must! Is it 9% for the tester too you think?

I wonder if the mooted parliamentary enquiry into the franchise industry will cover tatts? So far only caltex, 7/11, dominos, rfg have been singles out
