Lottoland promotes community engagement with $50 RFDS donation

When I see a company handing out a big cheque I think wanker, but that’s just me. Community group recipients usually deserve the donation, but too often they are a pawn in a commercial game.

First it’s Sunrise giving them publicity and now it’s Today. All wankers together.

Lotterywest spent a lot more than that on putting ambulances into the St johns facility behind my shop. But thats such a common occurrence it hardly rates a mention beyond local newspapers.
Channel 9 should come clean on how much Lottoland spends on advertising with them, what Quid Pro Quo arrangements have been made with Lottoland and how much urine has been pissed into the pockets of their sales executives.

This is peanuts compared to what they make obviously the campaign is hurting them so instead of coming out with a white flag they are trying some devious tactics lets keep up the pressure and have them banned across Australia, the reaction I am having everyone wants to sign the petition no one is sticking up for them.

Yes, I see this donation 100% as their response to Tatts. I suspect they had it ready to go ages ago, expecting a Tatts counter. I suspect they have more ready to go too.

I agree Lotterywest is more valuable for the WA community. Successive WA governments have certainly got it right and WA residents benefit.

I’m going to the opening of a new community park opposite my shop tomorrow skate park, adventure garden and family park. Part funded by a $498,212 Lotterywest grant and not a big cheque to be seen. In fact I didn’t even know Lotterywest was involved till this week.

I suppose it’s hard to keep blowing your own trumpet when you allocate over a quarter of a billion dollars worth of grants every year.
