SBS is preparing a story they anticipate will run on their TV news tonight that references the newsagency channel. I have been contacted for some background information. I stressed there is plenty of good news in the channel as there are businesses transitioning, finding new traffic through new opportunities.
I saw it and it was balanced .
I felt it could have been more optimistic. The IBISWorld data is not as comprehensive or accurate as it could be. I’d prefer the filming to be from a newsagency that looked less traditional.
Where were the gaps in IBISWorld?
And it would be great to see a non-traditional agency.
One which looked like a greenhouse or a zoo perhaps.
