    Once Lottoland is carefully, accurately and dispassionately explained to our customers, 99% are completely uninterested in joining them

    I think it’s a bit harsh to demand pulling the ad and apologising. This sort of tactic is just Advertising 101 (i.e. “talk down your opposition”). And to be honest it doesn’t make me (a mere customer) feel any lesser towards a newsagent or small business. At the same time I am no more interested in Lotto Land than I was before (which is zero).
