A newsagent yesterday said these regular Saturday super draws do not attract the traffic spike they used to, not like the real jackpots you can get for Powerball and OzLotto. Let people know what you expect from today or how it has gone – through a comment here.
We expect about an 80% increase in Lotto and 30% increase in ISI. Pretty happy with that.

We live in an older demographic. Saturday lotto is our biggest seller year after year. The Saturday super draws outsell powerball and oz lotto right up until a mega draw of say $60m and above.

Its defiantly welcome at this time of year for us but have to say it is no where near as popular as it once was . The 20million draws have been around for way to long ,its time to make them bigger lets see it at 40 million

The consistency of Superdraws have a much larger numbers of 1st division winners must mean there are a lot more tickets being sold. The normal Saturday draws usually result in about 4-6 winners were as Superdraws usually result in around 15, 20 odd is not unusual.
As to how many of those extra tickets are sold through retail outlet and how many are online is hard to know as there are no breakdowns of sales for individual games that I know of. However the idea that the infrequent players who aren’t welded too the retail network are more likely to buy online wouldn’t surprise me.
In the end my sales will be well up for the week and I’m sure not going complain about it.

nothing spectacular, with winners take home the most $1 million each. Most customers prefer $60 million OZ or powerball here.

Still attracts small punters, but several large punters lost to on-line. Overall, takings for Saturday jackpots down 10-30%
