Network Services has issued a third communication to newsagents, which I share here with permission.
They have also provided a list of ‘Transition’ issues – title issues that will be dispatched by Network Services but will be returned to Gordon and Gotch. There are 150 issues on this list.
Newsagents will need to ensure their software is appropriately setup to handle the transition.
With only one 1 main distributor left, does the MPA trial still hold a purpose?
We (owners) know how to fix the problems, maybe it’s time G&G actually started “listening” to what we are saying, instead of hiding behind smoke screens. A positive outcome for both parties would allow a more profitable & sustainable channel / future.
It does beg the question if this distributor continues to leech off the industry & continues their ‘’dinosaur’’ ways of operation, how long will it be until there isn’t a main distributor… ?

Aaron, maybe you ought to wait and see the Gotch that emerges from the changes that are about to happen.

I am curious with this list of transition titles if this means early returns for these titles are not available to these titles?
Personally i looked at the list and only saw maybe a handful of titles that merit holding over the long recall dates. It would probably be in our best interest to early return all items to network and finalize the account that way.
Anyone know more on this? (Yes i have emailed network asking the same question but i bet you guys will have an answer faster haha)

Michael , I have early returned as per usual and they went through yesterday . I want my account finalised at the end of this month with NDC I do not want it dragging out .
