Is the week of change continues at Bauer Media with the report Cleo magazine is to close.
I do expect to see more closures of Australian magazines this year as publishers look carefully at circulation numbers.

Not just magazines.
This year we have already seen the demise of the Herald Sun, with all sales lost following decision to deliver to SA the day after publication. It appears The Age is about to make the same decision, evidenced by the repeated failure to turn up until after 11am.
The Sydney Morning Herald was already firmly in the former category, we now only receive weekend copies.

The thing is print production and distribution is expensive and increasing. These rising costs with falling sales and even larger falling advertising revenue mean print publishers have tough decisions to make.
