I got to see Boar It Up Ya on several newsagency shelves this week. It’s popular up north and deep into Queensland and New South Wales. This is the type of niche title that is important to newsagents.
One newsagency has a massive stack – and they will sell through.
Boar It Up Ya is a specialist title that is best served by specialist retailers – like newsagents.
It is a title that generates traffic, traffic from which newsagents can make more than the GP from the magazine sale. This is why I say it is valuable and why we need more magazines that we as specialist retailers can help and leverage.
The publisher of Boar It Up Ya actively supports newsagents. It is good to see!
Thanks Mark. This time of year I get fairly busy with merchandise orders for Christmas, especially subscription orders.
Earlier this year I stopped accepting subscriptions, and have asked my readers to help support newsagencies and purchase or order copies of my titles directly from them.
It’s one way of both acknowledging the struggles Newsagents are experiencing, and doing my bit to help where I can also.

Mark, ours is another specialist title and we’re grateful to have the ongoing support of many newsagents throughout Australia.
