IPS emailed this over a week ago. It has also been on the Age’s Connect website for a week or so.

Which is why it would have been easier to send a piece of paper with the stock to inform people. I missed the notice too, because staring at a pc looking for notices is far less important than talking to my customers face to face….
I agree. They should have made it more obvious.
IPS called us to see what supply level we wanted. A customer pointed it out to me last Tuesday and my Fairfax Rep spoke to me about it on Tuesday this week. I have received a load of communication about it. Granted that we should have been notified before a customer pointed out an ad in the SMH last week.
Once again I read of this mythical creature the Fairfax rep. oops gotta go, the tooth fairy and santa are blueing out the front again
Quick update on this one. Out of the 145 received, we moved the grand total of 13….5 of these we sold to a subby, and expect most of these back as returns anyway

Our fairfax rep is great. I know it sounds unbelievable but he always contacts us and always replies within a day to any concerns.

Thanks for confirming their existence I guess they must chuck a U-turn at the city limits as I have not seen one EVER in nearly 11 years.
I am not in a city! Have you called Fairfax and asked for a visit? 11 years is ridiculous
8 years and not only have we never had a rep I don’t think I have actually had a phone call from Fairfax. Ever. In fact a customer told me he recently rang the subscription line and was told no one in our town does home deliveries so I’m sure Fairfax don’t even know we exist.
Not in a city, have always had a rep, never really had any need to see current one, just phone or email always get an immediate response.
