We have Good Chef Bad Chef 3 (launched this week) placed with food titles, next to weekly magazines and here with newspapers – to leverage the launch buzz.
my note to newsagents would be don’t early return this title as it will sell right through the on-sale in the sales of issue 1 and issue 2 are anything to go by.
Good Chef Bad Chef issue 4 – what is going on with this magazine?
Issue 1 sold 40 copies
Issue 2 sold 24 copies
Issue 3 sold 12 copies
So why was I given 41 copies of Issue 4 of which I have only sold 6 since 2 deliveries in December (2 prominent displays and over Xmas period).
I happened to see this some of this show last week on TV, not once did I hear that this magazine is available to buy (at newsagents or anywhere else) but I did hear more than once that if you wanted any of todays recipes go to their website.
So what is the purpose of this magazine that I now need to early return?
Seems such a waste of money to me.

You have brought to our attention a good point Jenny. Why should we sell their magazine if they direct viewers to the website, and not to newsagents.
This will help us make our decisions weather to put it on the shelf or return it.

The publishers should be made aware of their blunder with regard to promoting the www over newsagencies, and the action that some are taking because of it.

I would like to know where I can obtain copies of Volume 3 and volume 4 of the “Good Chef Bad Chef” magazine.
Kindest regards
Vicki.
P.S: Please do no refer me to the website, it is not offering the publication or any information on where to buy
