Newsagents offering Loom Bands should compare their display with the display as shown in the photo. How do you compere? If this was a shop next to yours, how would you pitch Loom Bands differently? This display puts my approach until now to shame.
To successfully compete we need to have the best pitch.
We could do the same if we had posters or advertising material available like this.
Living in the country is difficult.
Yeah it’s tough without advertising material but sometimes you just have to make your own. Might not always be as good but as long as it gets the message across.
Would like to find a supplier for loom bands? any suggestions?
I would love to hear from other newsagents just how LOOM BANDS are travelling now? Still really good? We have had a wonderful time with them for about 3 months but I am detecting a slowdown in our area. Some prices dropping. Anyone?
We were late to get going, still selling well for us, but buyers are getting pickier about the colour selection, some just wanting single colour packs (mostly black and teal:-)), but also doing well with the multi coloured bands. Still demand for starter kits so this has legs left for us.
@Amy – where are you? We are in SA and get ours from Aussie Imports.
Bruce they were amazing for three months and then schools started banning them and they slowed. Not done yet though. The real test for us will be the next school holidays.
From data I see, there is a difference based on location. In some regional and rural situations Loom Bands sales are very strong. It depends on nearby competitors and your demographic.
