I’ve heard from several newsagents since the news of the photo shoot of the Prime Minister knitting in the latest issue of The Australian Women’s Weekly dropped yesterday. In each case they passed on negative comments from customers and wondered if this would be the worst selling issue of AWW.
Regardless of your political leanings, there is no doubt that Australians have a firm, if not ignorant for some, view of Prime Minister. I hope the photo shoot drives sales.
Crisis averted – they put harry on the front!!
I think it’s a great photo, quite a few comments yesterday, but it didn’t affect Telegraph sales negatively.
When I saw this photo yesterday my first thought was what a great magazine cover shot it would make.
Harry was born into royalty, Julia worked hard to get where she is, and I believe her photo on the cover, not his, would have been a smarter move. No I’m not a fan but I respect her.
Our worst selling issue had Ellen on the cover.
Bad decision AWW, you might have had a sellout issue after tonights turn of events.
So should we put little stickers within the article to say ‘”former” Prime Minister’ now?
This could now be a collectors item.
