We have a range of own related gift lines, more than in the photo. that are popular with our customers. It’s interesting tapping into opportunities like this, around interests such as owls. It’s arise but when you see something work it’s exciting and eye-opening.
We judge success on how quickly we turn a range. For gifts we have a high turn expectation, more than, for example, stationery.
Owls were all over the Melbourne Fair last
August and we purchased lots and most
have sold.
It’s funny how the Fairs seem to have a sort of “theme” each year and you get caught up in it.
I don’t think they do it with market research – I think it is just a phenomenon.
I had silver owls (moneyboxes for kids) and fluffy owls and ceramic owls and owl salt and pepper shakers and they all sold.
Interesting??????

Foxes are becoming the new owls. The reason for this phenomenon is just as mysterious to me as the owls were.

h, my daughter bought 4 elephants at a Garage Sale for $2 when she was 8yo.
Now she has over 600 and since she’s grown up and moved interstate we’ve now got the job of storing or relocating the collection.
Hmm, collectors….their parents worst nightmare LOL
