We experienced a surge in sales of Take 5 and That’s Life yesterday with both titles surging ahead of recent average Wednesday sales. You can see the surge reflected on the Sales decay report I produced for Take 5 yesterday mid afternoon – well ahead of the average of sales for the last four weeks. We’ve not done anything different for each of the titles – this surge is all their own work!

Mark do you have lotto in this store ? We are having an uplift in most areas while this lotto has been on a jackpot roll .
No, I don’t have lotteries in any of my current stores.
No lotto here either and we’ve noticed sales increases for both titles over the past week and yesterday ordered extras on the back of strong first day sales. Something positive and we can’t explain it either, just enjoy it and make the most of it.
We probably had one of our worst Take 5 sales yesterday.
We received about 10 issues with the “Real Cash Inside” tear off on the front, while all our other issues did not have it. A customer complained about it and she checked with the other two newsagents in the centre and all of their issues had the “real cash inside” tear off.
What would be the reason why we received some with and some without the “real cash inside”?

Same here our key had the Real Cash bonus but the bulks did not .
The ACP merchandiser turn up and try to put up a display advertising the Real Cash Bonus when the magazines didn`t have it
