ACP uses Ticketek relationship to promote subscriptions

ACP Magazines is using corporate stable mate Ticketek to promote subscriptions of TopGear magazine.  The 53% discount for is sure to entice some to switch from over the counter to subscriptions.

    Mark, this could be more a desperation move on ACP’s part to shift a title. When Top Gear first came out it was a reasonable title to sell but now most people have moved on and we now only carry a fraction of what we carried on launch.

    It’s not just the magazine. The TV show dropped ratings too and has been moved to a later time slot by nine. I think the shows popularity has started to deminish which has flowed on to the magazine sales

    I accept subs as necessary for publishers. However, I don’t like campaigns that make us look expensive.

    Living Social today are offering M2 for $19..Now thats a bargain might get a couple and sell them in store cheaper than I can get through the distributor.
