I am disappointed that newsagencies are not tagged in more TV and other advertising for magazines. Promoting a title without publicising where to purchase it benefits newsagency competitors more than us. Is that what publishers want?

Popular Science are running a radio campaign here in Sydney at the moment which has ‘buy it at your newsagent’ as one of the key messages.

I agree Mark, some do however nearly all promote other platforms to source magazines which are inserted into the magazines, I saw the figures on Crikey during the week regarding Magazine sales.
Maybe Publishers should re engage its readers with what you said, this will help everyone in the channel. Once they get it into their heads that we are a team, I can see a positive future in the coming years.
