I appreciate the insights I am given and the opportunity to discuss these with those sharing the information.
I don’t publish that which I am asked to keep confidential – even and especially where to publish some confidential information would be commercially advantageous. To do so would be unethical.
I mention this today because I want my position on confidentiality on the record for today and in the future.
all newsagents have a level of trust and confidentiality left with them by the community.
we know when people are away on holidays, and their homes vacant.
we know who has won money on lotto (this is a big one in a small town).
we know how respected members of the community who appericiate having their adult mags hidden inside their newspaper
