Driving impulse phone recharge business

This video was shop on an iPhone in a newsagency in Queensland last week.

We have been trialling this at a couple of my newsagencies. there is no doubt that consistent and professional point of purchase promotion drives impulse purchases for certain types of items.

    Aust Post has installed self-service kiosk for parcels and bill payment in Emirates House, Collins st, Melbourne, that i am sure in future iteration cculd include this capability. At present it looks like it is limited to Bill Payment and Parcels. Note it can’t do letters! The newagency of the future could be equiped to do all of this with personal service as back-up over longer trading hours / 7 days even.
