We’re thrilled to see Coach launch from Pacific Magazines yesterday. This men’s personal training title under the Men’s Health imprint is targeting a popular male health and fitness area – personal training.
Just check out any gym and see how many personal trainers they have available. It is a big and growing market. Coach caters to that interest – to those into personal training and those who want the motivator without the cost.
I think this is a timely new title, a title newsagents should get behind.
We are promoting the launch issue of Coach in a feature area facing out onto the dance floor of the newsagency. We also have stock with Men’s Health. his is a title guys could buy or girls could buy for their guy.
You and they don’t seem to understand. A new title (or should we say spin off) will only erode the content and value of Men’s Health to the customer.
I disagree Tim. This is appealing to a different need. The proof will be in sales. I love having something new which is backed by good promotional activity.
The problem is it looks nearly identical to the Runners World Coach Magazine that is out at the moment. However Mens Health has taken a hit in our store since the arrival of Mens Fitness so this just may give it the bump it needs to give it an edge.
