We have been promoting New Idea and Woman’s Day with newspapers this week, as well as their usual in-store locations, to leverage strong interest in the all things royal in the lead up to the big wedding at the end of this week. It will be interesting to see if their use of Diana on the cover drives sales. Personally I would have preferred to see a different cover offering from each of the titles.
A couple came in this morning looking for the ‘special’ New Idea or WD with the cutout masks of the pair in question. No sign of it.

Just as a general question, how are the weekly magazines selling compared to Diana’s wedding? It was before my time as a newsagent.
