With Mother’s Day now in full swing, it will be challenging for newsagents to find space for promoting all the Royal Wedding special issues, one-shots and other giveaways and maintain a good presence for Mother’s Day.
It’s no one’s fault … just another challenge for newsagents this week.
After the crap month we have had with people holding off spending leading up to the super long weekend we are looking at a huge finish to come out OK and need as much traffic drivers as we can.
We have the mother’s day stock up as well as hopefully a couple of good lotto jackpots to bring people in, so a good news story will add to the buzz and add top that the added mag sales should see us enjoy a good season.
We had a real late tackoff to xmas so with a bit of luck the same will ahppen for mother’s day. Good luck to everyone over the next couple of weeks and I’m hoping OZ goes up to $30m.
