Seriously, we need another fishing magazine?! A review of the sale of fishing titles will show that we are not coming close to selling out of the range we already recieve yet the allocations software has decided we need this title. Tackle Junkie may interest some but not me. I don’t have the space. But this isn’t just about space. It is about yet another title being funded by me without being asked if I would like to fund it. Supply decisions like this at the bottom end of the marketplace are killing newsagencies.
amuse your self and have a look at there web site . it is a free magazine so why are we selling something tat is free . I am a keen fisherman but i to have no interest in something that makes me look like i am ripping off the customer so it is top ripped off and sent back
Shaun, We thought the same thing of Owner Driver (and, despite consistent early return, we are still receiving 1 of each issue). We service quite a lot of truckies, as do the local servos who had Owner Driver on their stands as a freebie. Once one of our regulars told me of this ‘scam’ (that’s what he called it), we decided how selling a free magazine made us look and removed it from our shelves immediately.
hi , nothing to do with this post but did anyone else see the email from gotch about the july issue of fishing magazine . there are 2 different issues coming out one with “FREE” lure and the other on its own but get this the one with the free lure is $12.95 and the one without is $7.50 what part of FREE have they missed here
