Is the Julia Gillard cover worth 10% to Women’s Weekly?

If the sales data I have seen from a handfull of newsagencies plays out to the channel then Julia Gillard on the cover of the Australian Women’s Weekly could be worth up to a 10% bump in sales.

I WAS UNDER SUPPLIED 30 COPIES AND ASSURED THAT THERE WOULD MOST LIKELY BE A REPRINT SO MY SUB AGENT HAD SUPPLY CUT. SALES OF AWW HAVE BEEN DOWN BUT I HAVE JUST TAKEN ON TWO NEW SUBS BUT CAN’T SUPPLY THEM

My sales are well under usual figures I will be returning at least 25% of my supply at the end of the cycle, I may even return them early. I think sales really depend on your location with a topic like this.

They should have printed 2 versions – Julia for Labor electorates and Tony for Liberal electorates. Doesn’t sell at all well here.
