Some newsagents are still experiencing bumps from the change in the freight company handling the distribution of magazines. One newsagent on the central coast of NSW received today’s magazines ten hours late – hours after the supermarkets on either side received their stock.
Hmmmmm. In those circumstances, I reckon there should be some kind of compensation arrangement.
That’s just plain off.

Good idea Y&G. There was no problem with the distribution if the Newsagent’ closest competitors got them first.
The Newsagent has to pay the rent, like it or not and not having the usual income there doesn’t help.

I am already facing hiccups with later delivery times, missing complete delivery for especially the smaller quantity odd newspapers, which makes it very annoying as we do have home delivery for them too.
I do hope these home delivery complain so Fairfax knows we are telling the truth.
Let’s see today what time we get the replacements as to whether we want to go out for the second run- who’s going to reimburse for the extra petrol/wages.
Also the newspaper bundles are haphazardly thrown about on the footpath, not stacked up properly like before.
Fairfax got to advise these new drivers about proper deliveries. we’ll definitely inform our rep.
So we are not happy little Vegemites here!!!
