We switched this more promotional style of newsletter in August. It works better promoting our offers than the more newsy style newsletter it replaced. We pitch price (ink, cards and magazines) range (cards) and being green (O’Bon pens and journals). We are pretty happy with the corporate image this presents for our business.
I’m just wondering what programs are used to design/make the newsletter?
And any tips to make something stand out more? (Besides larger font)

Aaron , We are an independent Newsagency and as a part of our business we provide generic marketing material to other newsagencies to suit their own business. Customers provide the images and brief discription on what you want on their flyers, etc and we layout the job and email them back a PDF of the flyer at a small cost so they can print it out themselves or we arrange to send the flyer to them. Aaron, We do this in Illustrator. But it could easily be done in Word or Publisher.
