The Independent has published an interactive map which is reflective of the debate around the future of newspapers. By interacting with the map you are able to navigate the diverse views and through this develop a better understanding of the challenges faced by today’s newspapers.
This excellent map is a fascinating tool, especially for people still working through their position on the future of newspapers.
That’s a cool map, but the newspaper was dead each time they introduced the telegram, radio, tv, internet, etc.
I don’t think it’ll die, but maybe some parts to it need to be refined though.

I must also have my head in the sand, I agree with Michael, I believe that some things will need to be refined in regards to both Newspapers and Magazines however I don’t believe they will ever fully die out.

Mark, I do agree with your point of view that newsagencies need to diversify in order to survive in the current and future economy – Relying on Newspapers and magazine sales alone is financial suicide.
