    We may be in a bubble here but we have suffered a reader backlash with the micheal jackson covers. Our customers are telling us they refuse to buy the mags with these covers and our weekly sales show this.
    Again it may just be here but our cutomers don’t seem to be able to forgive and forget what went on with his past. I’d love to know if any else is seeing this?

    We’re getting some of the same as Luke as well. Weeklies selling like normal, and finding it impossile to push extra of something like Rolling Stone. I suspect we would have got a MUCH better response with Farrah Fawcett covers.

    customers want anything with mj’s face on it. especially who and rolling stone.

    there are some who are getting tired of it though.
