Our team at Frankston cleverly put FHM magazine featuring Pink on the cover at the counter. With Pink’s Melbourne concerts selling out and new dates added her popularity is clearly strong in our marketplace. Opportunistic placement at the counter like this is all about driving impulse purchases.
Pink has been a great selling point (one customer said his wife would beat him if he did not buy the mag because she must have it since Pink was on the cover! lol).
We are promoting FHM side by side with Australian Ink, another title with Pink on the cover. This works well for us as both titles appeal to the majority of our in store customers.
