Its interesting that some one gets on the enviromental thing with newspapers. I am amazed that no one has got on the enviromental impact that HWT produce with all there give aways. We always get a supply increase with these promos, but the freebies never increase our sales, so our returns will always be up for that day or week. I still have 6 boxes of door seals, 8 boxes of light globes, 110 fire appeal wrist bands, 100 or so super coach books, cds and soon I will have a heap of footy Albums. Most have Made in China and end up as Australian land fill. But just like the oversupply of mags, they have the data of returns, they must know if these freebies increase sales or not, but continue to do it. Dolly mag with the speakers accounted for 2 extra sales, but I will return 60% of my supply, more land fill made in China. This must be a bigger issue than recyclable newspapers.
