This is so confusing, with the 2 bodies disagreeing. Don’t know who to believe, so have booked an interview with our local member to find out first hand what is being suggested with the sale.

With the ANF’s record in negotiating on our behalf I will be taking NANA’s advice.

I like NANAS key points taken to the NSW government.

From the learnings of QLD, its important that all stakeholders benefit from the transaction.

I noticed in this mornings Fin Review that aside from an Italian company being interested in NSW Lotteries, Woolworths are considering NSW Lotteries as an aquisition.

    Mark,

Interested in your opinion on this. After initially urging others to support the petition do you now support NANA’s recommendation?

    Ted,

I support the Facebook page because it takes the issues into the popular social media site and will attract interest from a broad community.

I also support the NANA approach and which this is somewhat incompatible with the Facebook page, both seek to let the government know that newsagents are concerned.

So you support the facebook page as well as NANA’s call not to support the facebook page?

Ted, I am not sure what your angle is. I supported the facebook page when it launched. That is on the record here. I supported the NANA statement when it was released. That is on the record here. While I aeecpt that the approaches are different, they will not, in my view, harm each other.

    Ted,

NANA has not called on newsagents not to support the facebook page. Their call was to not support the ANF initiated petition. The facebook page and the ANF petition are two completely separate things.
