The Hearst owned Seattle Post-Intelligencier is set to close its print product and move to a pure online model according to PaidContent. I first bought a copy of the PI in 1986 on my first visit to Seattle. It was comfortable as it felt and read very much like The Age.
having just read two superb articles in The Age, one about looking at the stars (and how city dwellers are missing out on so much of the beauty of the sky) and one about texting instead of talking, I wonder if I would have found these articles on line. The titles of the articles did not excite but snippets of the article led me to read the complete story – I don’t think the online teaser would have had the same effect.
