Great news, it’s seems like so long since we’ve had a really big jackpot like this (besides the magadraw) Powerball hasn’t really got a good run on in the last few months at least so this draw is more than welcome.
The only “problem” i can see with it is that it might hinder the Syndicate sales of the $14 million Valentines draw that i’m sure we’re all running, even more so if it jackpots again next week to $50 million.
As much as that will be a bumper week for sales, nobody likes getting stuck with Syndicate shares and paying for them out of your own pocket so it’ll be a bit of a balancing act selling the existing Saturday syndicates running for the superdraw and how many you decide to run for Super 7’s.
Obviously every shop is different with the amount of foot traffic they have to their store and that somewhat governs the amount of syndicates they run, but i think for me i’ll concentrate on pushing the Super 7’s syndicates from now until the draw and then change focus to the Saturday weeks draw for syndicates.
If it does jackpot to $50 million i’ll still concentrate on the Saturday and get rid of all of those shares and then put the focus back on Oz lotto. We’ll probably have to run less Oz syndicates because of the shorter time frame to sell them but on the same token we should more than make up the shortfall in extra sales. Still if it does get to that it’s a nice problem to have and i wouldn’t mind having it more often.
