The latest issue of Martha Stewart Living is a good example of certain issues of overseas titles which face challenges. Only a die-hard Martha Stewart fan will buy this Christmas themed issue which arrived yesterday. We will be unlikely to sell the one copy we received. I am not sure what the answer is: airfreight seasonal issues, cut supply or live with it as we do today? Having Christmas titles now makes us look lazy or out of date.
Martha may have been late for xmass but she will definantly be early for return

Exactly the same happened/is happening here in Thailand. The December issues of most magazines have only appeared in the last few days. I think that’s largely down to the airport closures at the start of last month.
I normally buy several food magazines (Olive, BBC Good Food, and sometimes Delicious) but seeing turkey and festive-based content just doesn’t seem right now everything is over.
By the way, do you sell any Thai language publications? Do you think there would be a market for any?
