A Current Affair beat up scratchie tickets tonight, saying it is not fair that a customer may be sold a ticket for a game in which the major prize has already been claimed. It was like they had discovered some new rip off. Given the nature of the scratch ticket product the story was a beat up. Sure the main prize may have been won. Other prizes are available until the last few tickets are sold. My experience is that most customers do not buy these tickets for the main price. It’s a bit of loose change fun.
So if that’s right, none of us should worry about the public being advised when the main prize goes off.

What a load of rot that was on TV.
We are upfront and honest with customers that ask if the main prize has been won and the ones that are chasing the big prize simply buy another game.
I’m with you Mark it seemed like they had stumbled on a mass deception and again individual newsagents are to blame, with everythi9ng else going on in the country is this the best they can come up with, must be a slow news day.

The logical extension of the idiotic ACA reporter’s theory is that the major prize should be the last ticket on the roll of scratchies!
The only decent current affairs programme ever to go to air was “Frontline”!
