Here is the TV Commercial which we have created to promote newsagents. The commercail will air 93 times in a pre-run this weekend – on Arena, BIO, Fox Classics, History, Lifestyle, Hallmark, UK TV, W for Women and 10 in Sydney and 9 in Perth. The main campaign with over 300 airings will commence two weeks from this weekend.
The production and airing is being funded by Tower Systems as a contribution to all newsagents. I deeply appreciate a financial donation from one newsagent towards this as well as print space from the Herald Sun and Lovatts for the print version.
Truly excellent! And the add on of support from the printed media shows that newsagents in Australia are valued, by some publishers.

Congratulations Mark. What a wonderful positive promotion of newsagents. It would be great if we could establish a National promotional group funded by ALL NEWSAGENTS to continue to display this image of newsagents to the public.

I think we do have a nationally funded body to do this type of promotion. It’s called the ANF.
In Victoria there is a body called VANA who have a few million in the bank which can easily be used to add $10k to double the promotional support. How about it guys? Why do you not show the newsagency community how committed you are to the channel by doubling the amount Mark and Tower have put up.

Lorraine, I’m not an ANF member or VANA, but would it be possible for all members to rally to get them to contribute more or even reimburse Tower?
As you’ve said the association is made up of all members contributions so if everyone moves for it to be done it then has to happen.
What a terrific ad and thing to do.
Tower is showing the way forward that the ANF and state Bodies need to follow.
