The collateral provided by Tattersalls to promote the new Monday and Wednesday games is a compliment to the cloud artwork used by Intralot to promote their games. Kudos to the two businesses for working together on a common image promoting lottery games – if that is what happened. Somehow, I suspect that they have not worked together on this and that the Tattersalls folk like the Intralot cloud style.
I think Tattersalls said not to market Monday and Wednesday Lotto until they told us to do it because they still do not have a start date.
isn’t this more a case of copycat advertising to confuse the market rather than any collaboration between the two?

I would tend to agree with Mark’s comment;
In my view this appears to be an attempt to simulate as near as possible, the marketing strategy of the opposition in order to create confusion, presumably for the lottery customer .

Our Tatts rep is non comittal and evasive when we ask the question.
Also have other venues experienced an improvement in Intralot sales.?
We are seeing a steady growth, and the sales for Bingo have markedly increased
I think that if Intralot don’t get their act together very soon that they may find they don’t have a market.
They have several things that need work.
their machines for 1 are not reliable and log off when the machine is not in constant use. ( i have been into several newsagents recently and this has been the case.)
their adverts on TV were cheesy however I haven’t seen any intralot TV adverts in quite a while so this maybe being rectified.
the draw that they show on channel 9 for the bingo draw looks like the background for a “1900” number ad to win a plasma TV. AND the girl who hosts the ad was previously on Quizmania.
The other games like lucky lines & Keno 70 aren’t major prize games, with that I think this is a major downfall to intralot.
Intralot lucky Tix’s are actually quite good Instant scratchies.
Most outlets can’t use the Tattersalls bench dispensers so that their customers don’t see scratchies as they are being passed their change. This again is another big downfall to intralot missing the incidental spending with scratchies right under the customers nose.
Tattersalls is also due to start Monday & Wednesday Lotto on the 13th Oct.
What a great day today is…Its only been 4 hours of selling of monday/wednesday tatts games for next week and already we have sold more(dollar value) of these tickets than we did for intralots online games for all last week,the proof of the pudding is in the eating…time for intralot to be accountable to the network for a disastrous launch that has cost us dearly,no more excuses ,no more reasons why they should or could work,no more blaming other people,they now need to perform, or, in my own case i will gladly be handing back their licence with pleasure..maybe its time for tatts to reintroduce discussion about what they would or could offer retailers who would be willing to be tatts exclusive retailers,i for one will be at the front of the line
