We have created a power-end display to promote Annette Sym’s Symply Too Good To Be True range at Forest Hill. Our goal is to drive sales of multiple books in each purchase. The display is directly in front of our cookbooks and health section – meaning it should connect with browsers. We picked up the marketing collateral at the newsXpress conference last week.
For newsagents new to Annette’s range, newsagents are the exclusive retailer and the books are available through Network Services.

If you sell Darrell Lea Peppermint Nougat Bars in your store, give away the recipe (just check with Annette for permission) at the counter. We have it in a brouchure holder occassionally, for two weeks at a time. Along with the recipe we have our details, a teaser line such as ‘if you like this you should try the Wicked Chocolate Cake’, as well as which book to get it from. This helps our store and the sale of the book – people come back once they have tried the recipe if they weren’t sure the first time they saw the book.
