Hi. I had the same problem. I found that if you select Cheque/Money Order option, complete the application, then go to the Help/Contact page and ring or e-mail explaining that it should be free, you will get a response without having to pay anything

It is 100% Free with the coupon code, though you have to verify the card using either your license or passport; unless you do it through the post.
The coupon is still working for anyone still interested. This is great! I was so disappointed when Bopo cancelled their cards.
