Motorlink fuel card drops dead

The Motorlink fuel card, which is part of the OnQ business and through them related to Bill Express, appears to have collapsed yesterday. I have been told that people presenting the card to pay for fuel in a petrol station have the card declined. A call to Caltex says the card is dead. With thousands of cards on issue, I am surprised that there has not been any media coverage of this.  Motorlink is the fuel card previously recommended by the ANF.

Motorlink Systems Pty Ltd has one shareholder – On Q Company Pty Ltd.

Look at page 3 of the ANF Industry News which was emailed out on 10 July 2008 – Heading..”Transition of the MotorLink Fuel Card Service” and the first sentence “Motorlink Systems announced last Friday its decision to exit the fuel card industry during July-August 2008”. I am not a member of ANF but have access to their emails….was this another “product” promoted and backed by ANF??? (just like Bill Express (part of the On Q Group mess…..OH DEAR!!!).

Yes, I saw this. However, it did not say that it was shutting down so fast. I saw their announcement as really one promoting their new commercial partner.

I’m a Motorlink customer, and at no point have I been notified that Motorlink were ceasing operations.
