Today’s Australian Financial Review reports that ASIC is investigating Bill Express. This is on top of reported active investigations by the ACCC and the Federal Police into matters related to Bill Express.
My understanding is that more former employees are prepared to speak out about matters relating what they saw while with the company. Someone has suggested that this is what will lead to further attention on OnQ and ETT.
Yesterday, OnQ, a major shareholder in Bill Express, announced that it would no longer consolidate, take over, Bill Express. In the same announcement the company said it was withdrawing fdrom International projects but did not provide details. My understanding is that the Vietnam operation is one such project. If this informatuion is current, it will be intresting to see the broader ramifications for the BOPO offer.
Bill Express has invested considerable funds into the launch of BOPO and while it has gained some traction, the return is probably not where it needs to be at this point.
One executive within Bill Express has been putting it about that what has been published here about Bill Express is fiction. I clearly identify what I have been told versus what I know to be true. He or anyone else in the company is welcome to let me know what is inaccurate so I may publish a correction.
I am sure all truth will be revealed in the end, there’s nothing stopping anyone now from clearing their conscience, that is, if the people concerned have one in the first place.
I am now finished with BE, my Ezipass is set up and my St Geo Eftpos has just been installed this morning.
Even if BE did a lazarus, and they’re still taking the mthly rental, until the contract ends, the BE equip will just sit in a box, they will not earn extra pennies out of me.

QUESTION, WHAT HAVE BEEN THE RESPONSE/ REACTION FROM ANZ WHEN THE MERCHANT FACILITIES ARE CANCELLED
0 likes
on ANZ merchant, for the moment we have not formally inform them, it does not cost anything mthly except for the nominal yearly fee.
If we don’t use it, then they should not take any monies from us daily.
people have mentioned the breakfee of $550 put in place just b4 the BE fiasco.
I am interested to hear from anyone else who have told ANZ to cancel their facilities.
If indeed there is a breakfee, then we’ll ride it out until the outcome of court case and pay just the nominal yearly fee in the meantime.

No you should not be getting charged a terminal fee for your ANZ Merchant equipment. Could you also turn your caps lock key off when writing comments please.

Helen, doesn’t sound like we’re on the same deal at all.
we only have 1 ANZ eftpos terminal bundled up with BE dialtime, etc.
we pay $19.80 per year for it.
The only other mthly fees we pay are for use of eftpos dr/cr transactions based on percentage.
so if we don’t use anz eftpos, then there should be no mthly charges.

Careful, The only real, safe way to prevent these criminals from stealing your hard earnt money is to close the account.
In some cases they have been slipery, nd changed the direct debit codes, enabling them to get the money again.

If that is the case KH of changing direct debit codes, surely that is fraud.

g’day Andrew
yep, nothing new to these grease-ballsballs.
They now have ASIC, ATO, ACCC, Aust Fed. Police, & of course our QC looking at them.
With that much stink, there’s got to be a dead rat somewhere.
