Healthy Food promotion

healthy_food.JPGHealthy Food magazine is our counter offer this week – despite receiving no marketing collateral.

With sample bag packed with more than $10 worth of products, promoting Healthy Food at the counter makes sense. I’d expect us to sell out by the end of the week.

I can’t stress enough the economic value to our business of this small counter space allocation for promoting magazines with good giveaways.

No sample bags arrived this day. GG rep and I both disappointed but the horse has bolted.

We are a newsagent in northern NSW and we do not recieve any promo stuff with our mags unless they are attached to the mags themselves. No sample bags no giveaways, shame that some newsagents get a helping hand with sales and not others

It might be a Victorian thing. As newsagents we need to look beyond the ‘poor me’ and promote titles like this even if there is no freebie. Healthy eating and living mags are almost as hot as mags with budget specials.

Sarah, There is no “poor me” in my post. The space is about titles with freebies. It works a treat. Mark

We actively promote mags regardless of freebies or not, but it does get tiring when we see some agent getting a leg up with promotions and we don’t.

Sorry Mark, I was referring to posts about not receiving bags. Should have made that clear.
