Dolly magazine is our counter promotion this week. The free Napoleon Perdis Lip Gloss is a perfect giveaway to drive impulse sales.
The Perdis brand is promoted on Fox8’s Australia’s Next Top Model. We expect brand recognition to be high even among parents. This counter display will be seen more by parents than the usual (younger) Dolly consumer.
Understanding the back story to gifts with magazines can be helpful in making suggestions to customers.
We did not receive point of sale material for Dolly. We created what you can see in the photo.

I noticed in a Woolworths store this morning that Women’s Health magazine have a FREE sports towel with the magazine exclusive to Woolworths/Safeway.
Have Women’s Health mag done any newsagency exclusive giveaways?

woolies get a lot of offers that we don’t ….. it makes competing very dificult

I have been through this with ACP and Pacific and have seen the schedules for newsagencies and other retailers. We do okay actually. We have offers when they don’t and vice versa.

yay! a magazine that not only already finds a way to make younger girls, self esteem go way low, but now they make up for it by giving you a free lippy!!!

I bought my daughter the dolly magazine that is out now 17-7-09 it did not have the hair straightner that came with the magazine how can we get one?
