I saw plenty of these metal display stands in London. They are provided by publishers for their title. Less than half the time they had the right title in the right display. Outside of this compliance issue, I do question the efficiency of breaking one title out of the pack long term as one has to for these stands.   While this serves the publisher, I question whether it serves the retailer. The stands I saw weren’t that retail friendly. None of the frills we see in Australia in single title magazine displays.
talking of magazine stands could someone please tell me where the best place to buy mobile display stands from ,i have been looking on the internet but have not been able to find a great deal of variety.

I would have them made by a shopfitter – they look better and will fit in with your shop better.
Kleerex produce a mobile stand, but i’ve seen more effective ones produced by shopfitters.

Personally i think those stands are ugly. They do nothing to draw you to them, and the actual marketing and display potential is very low. I also agree that having these magazines put apart from the others would do more worse than good, as it does not encourage multiple title purchases.
