Losing small magazines

small_mags.JPGThe photo shows what a small magazine, around A5 in size, looks like in traditional newsagency fixturting.  While we can put a block of wood underneath to raise the cover, most newsagents don’t.  the title gets lost.  With more magazines opting for this smaller size it’s a challenge we need to address.

At our newsagency, our we have a small row of slat-wall at the top of our magazine shelves. We have about 6 clear plastic shelves (approx 30cm wide) that simply hook into the slat-wall, wherever it is needed. This is what I use to promote these annoying small titles, such as the hair magazines in your photo, or such titles as Readers Digest .
