Where is Women’s Weekly?

Women’s Weekly is missing from the three newsagencies in Melbourne with which I am directly involved. ACP said that Melbourne metro outlets would get a special delivery of stock. I assumed this would mean we would receive it later today. Unfortunately, no. So, we’re displaying the old issue while Coles, Safeway and our major competitors have the new issue. I feel like a second class citizen.

We in sunny Queensland received a half of our stock, more to follow on Friday next apparently.

I’m not in the newsagent industry, you pretty much know that, but as a small business owner in an entirely different field regularly check out your blog and today you were the first place I came when AWW wasn’t at my newsagent!

I was surprised as Borders had it and I thought I would go to the newsagent instead. Quite frustrating!

Is there a problem with ACP? I got an email today saying that my copy of Bulletin this week was delayed due to production issues

Why all the complaining. You were not the only retailers affected.

These things happen – unfortunate – but what can you do.

Tim, not a lot of complaining – only reporting that I missed it in three of my newsagencies and in each case the majors a few metres from my front door have the title. Odd that.
